House Architecture
The century old house was modelled on by the architectural style of Ming Dynasty:
Black bricks, wooden columns and round wooden bars with supporting function, Symmetry (Taoism) is created by the four dwelling rooms right and left to the middle hall with house altar with the first floor rooms having windows opening into the inner of the house. Some wood carvings and stone relief are maintained, though unfortunately most of them like the wall paintings are irreparable, destroyed during Cultural Revolution. Attached are a bigger kitchen house and two leafy house yards. The huge entrance gate is well preserved, with traditional wooden locking and movable wooden grid.
